Welcome to The Grove, Nazim! Where have you joined us from?
I’ve come over from the beautiful city of Lyon in France, where I spent two years working as the Front Office Manager at the Intercontinental Lyon Hotel Dieu.
What are you looking forward to most about working at The Grove?
I’m excited to be part of the team here. Everyone is so passionate about making The Grove the best luxury hotel in England, and I can’t wait to contribute and be part of it. Bringing the hotel’s values to life for our guests and ensuring a memorable experience is had by all is what I love most about working in Front of House.
What do you do to make sure every guest has the best experience with us?
I think it’s important to get to know our guests – their likes and dislikes and so on. Also, paying attention to the little things and remembering them for future interactions is key. We’re always looking for ways to improve our service and we do this by having the right tools in place and ongoing training opportunities for the team.
Where is your favourite place at The Grove?
I would pick the Formal Gardens. It’s a beautiful part of the hotel, particularly in summer, and so peaceful.
What’s one activity at The Grove that you think every guest should experience this summer?
It’s got to be Everyman In The Garden. It’s a great way for guests to spend time together whilst soaking up the great outdoors.
How do you like to unwind after a busy day at the hotel?
When I’ve finished work, I love spending time with my daughter and going for lots of walks in nature.
