We’re delighted to be hosting our first ever family fun day for the local community on Sunday 29 September. In partnership with The Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ, and 25 local charities from Watford, Three Rivers and Dacorum, the day is set to be one of fun, connection and community spirit.
Alongside stands for each of the local charities to showcase their work, we’ve organised an exciting array of experiences for all ages. Think axe-throwing, archery and table cricket, to self-drive Mini Landies and juice-making. A barbecue and soft drinks will be provided as well as live music from Electric Umbrella and an on-site fire engine and police car to discover.
The event will be officially opened by The Lord Lieutenant, who commented: “I am delighted that The Grove is putting on this day to celebrate and promote community connections. As Patron and President of a number of local and national charities I welcome this event to highlight the great work of local charities.”
Danielle Michaels, HR Director for The Grove said: “We are excited to host our first community event and are committed to supporting and giving back. At The Grove we work hard to ensure a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests, catering to their every need, to ensure our hotel and 300-acre estate offer spaces for all to unwind, relax and reconnect. We are delighted to have partnered with a number of local charities who will be providing some great entertainment – a demonstration of how coming together can make wonderful things happen.”
Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis for our local community.
