The Glasshouse
If you have visited The Grove in the last few months, you will most likely have noticed the works that’s been carried across the whole hotel, including significant extensions, renovations and upgrades to elevate our golf offering even further.
So, here’s a run-down of what we’ve done to make your experience of golf at The Grove even better.
The Stables
- The bar in The Stables – where most golfers head for refreshments after their round – has been extended, creating a private area for golf groups and allowing for 32 additional seats for leisure golfers to cheers with post-round drinks or indulge in sustainably-sourced dishes and Great British Classics from our remodelled kitchen.
- The courtyard has been refurbished in partnership with StudioJill, complete with a new bar and a new pergola, creating an idyllic and intimate scene for private functions.
- Both the new courtyard area and The Stables terrace benefit from stylish furnishings, parasols and garden features, creating a relaxing environment to sit and enjoy al fresco dining in the warmer months.
Locker Rooms
- The main locker room has been extended and undergone a contemporary interior re-design, increasing the number of the lockers, adding additional shower facilities and toilets, installing a wet room to offering golfers a serene space to freshen up pre or post round, plus the addition of a built-in locker-room attendants’ area to service all golfers’ needs.
Halfway House
We know how important the mid-round refreshments are, so we have revamped the Halfway House, adding a walk-in fridge, draught beer on tap, a wider choice of food and a covered patio, giving golfers an inviting resting stop to refuel with a snack and refresh with a hot or cold beverage.
Golf Carts
Golf carts that play music? Yes, you read that right. Our new fleet of state-of-the-art Club Cars have Bluetooth speakers, so you can connect your phone and play whatever tunes you like – they will also have in-built USB chargers so you can keep the music flowing the entire round. We are proud to be the first venue in Europe to partner with Club Car to provide these new specifications.
TrackMan
In May 2022 we introduced TrackMan to the driving range which has proved a huge success. Instead of hitting balls aimlessly in the warm-up for your round, this technology (a favourite with Tour pros) gives you data feedback on every shot and dials in your yardages for success on the course.
SEQUOIA SPA
Our spa has had a complete makeover, including a new sustainable product house, Bamford. After a long day out on the fairway, it’s truly a tranquil spot to enjoy some R&R.
Mansion
The 18th-century mansion house underwent a full renovation, including the refurbishment of 12 beautiful new suites and stylish remodel of a further 13 rooms, by established interior designer Martin Hulbert, offering guests the ultimate luxury experience.
